Question Flying Suit

Hi Guys.

I've been looking everywhere for a new flying suit but I can't seem to find one.

I'm after an RAF Flying Suit MK16A or MK14A (Olive Green) in a size 3... a size 4 will do as a last resort.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers Arron.

Lots of ex-military surplus flying suits there.

A new one will cost you £££££

Mart haven't got any 3's in stock, closets they have is 2 and 5.

RAF Flying suits start at size 1, i've got a 2 atm and that is too small, need a size bigger.

Thanks mate.

...Or become a staff cadet on a VGS and you will be issued one from stores, without having to pay hard cash.

I was planning to do a few months ago when I got my Silver wings, however my local VGS is being moved, and the nearest AEF is too far way to become flight staff there

Get yourself a proper desert camoflage/khaki/non-pink nomex suit from a well known site on the internet. You'll look nearly as good as me.

Or avoid being green and buy one of these. Excellent quality and usually a good choice of 'sale items.

Except you're in the Private forum.

Lighten up son, you'll live longer that way

Waaaay back when I were an instructor one of my colleagues launched a campaign to get the school owners to introduce baby-grows for us. Nobody wanted them least of all the CFI and bosses who were all ex-military. His suit hung on the back of his office door for months then mysteriously disappeared after a heavy night at the aero club when the sleeves and legs of his suit may have become sewn shut and filled with uncooked rice

And the forum is private flying.

Don't worry when I am shooting the ILS tomorrow with unsuspecting passengers down the back I will pretend to be a grown up.

Quite so...and in the spirit of doing a professional job on the jeering front, I offer you this.
