Europe in the snow, pictures from the air
It is time for those who were brave enough to fly in these last couple of days to post their most beautiful white pictures HERE

No, not brave enough to fly but I did manage to get a picture. It's not taken from an aircraft, but a high viewpoint, does that count?

Now that is low flying what height are you at 50 feet ?Mind the church spire in front of you.
Question do you have to have your pictures on a site somewhere to put them up here?

This one was taken a couple of years ago over the lakes... sort of counts?.?.?. Got a trip planned for Snowdonia early tomorrow, hopefully the weather will hold up long enough... if so I'll get some pics.

hi all, i'm a training student (33ish hours). lucky enough to get up today over sussex, decent white blanket over the south downs! afraid zero value-add from me photo-wise, but wondered if anyone else flies from shoreham?
cheers...
cheers...
mattuk1 - if you get any aerial pics of Shoreham & surrounding countryside covered in snow, could you post them please? It was where I was brought up, and mum & dad still live there. Only flown from Shoreham once, though...second lesson, excitingly windy!

blues&twos - sure thing, hope to get up later in the week but not sure if it's going to be snowy again
you're right about the wind..grass rwys are u/s at the moment and if memory serves wind was 120/18 for rwy 20 in a c152 a few weeks back. not fun for a student (thankfully instructor on board!)

Total Beginner, that photo of yours would make an excellent 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle picture (my daughter and her Gran are into jigsaws since Christmas). Very nice.

It IS happening, just what i was hoping for! The South East should be flyable today so let's hope for some more!
Considering this only happens every 18 years those who can take the pics are the lucky ones!
I guess the last picture is a very short final of an airbus at former Ipswich Airport?????

Barshifter, exactly where is your first photo taken? The fields just below centre seem to show older underlying field systems and perhaps a previous building complex of some kind.
