Stansted/Luton VFR Route

In regard to the SFC-1500 feet bit under the Stansted CTA between VRP Epping to VRP Ware - does one have to stick to a straight line between the two VRPs (right hand traffic rule applies) or can one follow the lakes along the Lee Valley (from west abeam of Lippitts Hill to Ware)? Who do you talk to - Essex Radar? The route is of personal interest not a way of getting to Duxford, Panshanger etc.

The VFR route structure beneath the the Stansted CTA stub has recently been removed in response to the changes in the 1000ft (1500ft) rule. Basically, you can transit beneath the stub on whatever track you wish.
