Most of those issues cited aren't new. The FAA doesn't renew or publish changes annually. Many pilots believe so, and go by the commercially published "FAR-AIM" guides...which are just excerpts of the regulation. Doing so misses much of the current regulation...which is changed on a year-round, on-going basis.
