A little bit of letting off steam

After a month of work commitments and flu getting in the way, finally arranged free time last Monday and today.

On Monday arrived at flying club to find out that someone had removed my slot without telling me, annoying, but just a sign of admin standards slipping, as in the rest of the world. So re aranged for today.

My club is on a RAF base, so turned up today, only to find base closed until January due to lack of manpower!! Again wasted journey and no flying.

I know, I know, I should get a share in something to avoid these things.

I know we all want a Xmas brake, but this is the first time this has happened at this base in my 18 years of flying from this base. Again, sign of the times I suppose.
