Hi all, I was wondering if anybody knows anything about cheddington airfield? (Aka long marston or marsworth to some?) As I can see it marked as an active strip of some sort on my chart and some friends and family live very close by. I know that it is primarily a business park now since decommissioning, but is it still flyable? All I can find on the internet is about when the yanks had it, and google shows a couple of fryingpans, buildings and taxiways, no runway
although the field behind looks plausible? Any info greatly received,
Cheers,
Oli

I last flew into Long Marston in 1991 but a quick Google of "Long Marston Microlights" answers most of your questions - here are the first three results:
Long Marston Airfield

oli,
This has come up a couple of times in the past try the search function, there are several hits, but these two are probably the most relevant (but won't necessarily tell you anything new).
Cheddington 1
cheddingdon 2
I'sm assuming you're asking about the one near Tring/Halton
Brooklands
