Nearest airfield to Redcar is YEARBY ( 2nm S of Redcar, 80 ft AMSL).
Grass field, 07/25, 635 x 50 metres.
I flew in there once a few years back to visit daughter who was at Teesside University. Landed OK at third attempt, even though Barton trained and familiar with short grass fields !

Yearby

The strip at Yearby is good, dead flat and the sheep usually get out of the way after a suitably low pass.
Fortunately they know nothing about Rule 5.
Wires on the approach to 25.
