Insurance To Cover Flying

Hello

I have just taken to doing my PPL.

Her indoors has a query regarding insurance cover.

I accept you can not give names of companies, but what is the minimum / additional insurance cover should I be planning on having.

I phoned my company about 4 years ago on account of the same nagging from mrs g. They said it's ok for recreational flying. No charge, and I have it in writing. I was an existing customer.

PM for the name.

Not applicable to the UK of course, but in Canada, same thing. No increased charges, full coverage.

I did however, have to answer a questionnaire giving my hours, type of flying I did, destinations, and whether I flew certified aircraft or ultralights/amateur built.
