RAF Wyton this weekend

Just a heads up really....

Due to staff sickness, we won't be able to provide FIS on Wyton Approach 134.050 over the coming weekend. A NOTAM will be promulgated tomorrow morning to this effect. Without having seen tomorrow's wx forecast, I would like to ask any private flyers to attempt to avoid routing via our overhead unless absolutely necessary.

We will do our best to monitor the APP frequency, but we cannot guarantee a response. As we regularly have PFLs conducted from 3500ft I strongly urge you all avoid routing through (or above) the ATZ if you can. Obviously, this is only advice on my part, and I wish only to draw your attention to this circumstance. IF you do need to transit, please state so on 134.050, and we will endeavour to call you back!

Tomorrow's weather is looking pretty grim so I don't reckon there will too many people bothering you!

I thought there was a party going on from the title; disappointed now!

Cheers
