Golf course with airstrip

Lydd doesn't have much around it but it does have a very good golf club right next door. The mens courses are 6,000+ yards par 71. With the reasonable landing fees and the short walk to the club it would be my choice in the southeast.

You could just about walk to the 9 on Alderney for something a bit different. 
I bet not many people have played there.
George - you might even find what you are looking for, I am guessing the locals might welcome visitors particularly in the winter and their are plenty of B and Bs and one rather nice hotel.
