Boxted

Can anyone tell me if Boxted is open for airborne visitors?
I've done a search and found references to a 2006 airshow and it looks good on google earth.
Any contact numbers would be appreciated.

I went in a short while ago for their annual bash - Boxted 2008 Fly-in
They used to have quite a decent airshow there, but, as I understand it, the farmer who has recently taken it over, only allows the one annual event there.
They are re-building a nissen hut there to house an exhibit of it's 8th air-force wartime history.
I suspect that it hasn't been mowed since the fly-in.

The annual airshow, which I was delighted to display at several times is no more. There was a fly-in w/e in June/July but I do not believe that it is available on an ad-hoc basis. Best to contact the Mid-Suffolk LAA Strut. Contact details on the LAA website or Google.
