New Starter, flying in Dallas?

Hi all, apart form an hour long introductory flight with Cabair at Biggin, I'm new to flying.
I'm off to Dallas - Texas in a couple of weeks to work there for 1 month and wondered if it would be possible for me to begin my training there and complete it once I'm back in the UK?
I am aware that there are certain limitations in regard to converting my hours, gaining TSA clearance and my M-1 visa and medicals.

I guess my real question is this - 'Is this feasible?'

Many thanks in advance for any responses

Regards,

Doubt that you have time to go through the visa application process.
Here are the wait times form the consulate/embassy

Americans Traveling Abroad

***** The link says Americans travelling abroad, don't know why that came up, but never mind it will give you the visa wait times anyway ******
