I Need Summer Night flying!

Hi folks,

I need to do approx 20hrs of night P1 time ASAP.

UK, preferably Midlands, but able to travel if needs be.

Any ideas? (Not really keen on spending £120 an hour at Coventry!)

Brgds,
GA

Unfortunately you may be stuck - not many other airfields are H24 in the midlands.

Try different schools at CVT - there maybe some cheaper ones.

I was in the same dilemma some years ago. Go to the States and do it there. It'll cost a fortune in the UK, as not only is it more expensive to fly, but some UK airports charge extra for 'out of hours' movements & lighting etc.

20 hrs @ GBP 120 = GBP 2400 = USD 4800
= 40 hours of flying in something decent (172SP), 30hrs in something "glass", or 60 in an old 152

(minus flights and accomodation of course )
