Avgas, £1.51 + VAT per litre at Barton

Due to a further increase in supply cost, AVGAS 100LL fuel will increase to £1.51 + VAT per litre and JET A1 fuel to £0.85 + VAT per litre with effect from 10th June 2008.

When will it end and is there anywhere charging more than this

Too late....Durham Tees Valley charge 1.46 +vat and fife 1.44+vat, everywhere is much the same now. £1.51 is steep tho.

Do you honestly think the prices will come down once the fuel crisis subsides? No i don't either

Hah! £1.51 is cheap.

Last I heard EDI was £1.81 per litre (not sure if that includes VAT or not)...

Well Gordon Brown is the real greedy bast_rd!

The Price of Petrol

Where does the money you pay for a litre of petrol really go? Do you know what you are actually paying for?
If a litre of Unleaded cost 115.0p, it would be split in the following way:

Mr Pinks

That £1.70 a litre you quoted includes VAT (£1.40 without for comparison with the others).

No landing fee either......
