Farm Strip in hertfordshire/bucks/N.W London needed

Hi All

Does anyone know of any farm strips located in hertfordshire or N.W london (ideally 30-45 mins from watford) area that would be able to house an RF3 for the summer? any generous offers would be allowed to fly her for cost of fuel (10 liters an hr).

Have you tried Plaistows, twix't the M1 & M25? Not been there, but watched a Eurostar approaching there the other day as I bimbled past @ 2400'.

You could try the farm strip at Cottered, which is about 5 miles west of Buntingford. Details and contact numbers are in Lockyers guide. They have two machines stored in buildings there and might find room for one more........

Theres Graveley mid way between Baldock and Stevenage just of the A1.
and i believe they have a new hangar.

There is also Colemans Green near Wheathampsted.

And Benington just East of Stevenage.

Do the wings fold on an RF3? If so there may be space at Rush Green (South of Hitchin, West of Stevenage, under the approach to Luton's 26).

unfortunately they do not fold - would be great if they did like in the RF5!

does anyone know of rough rates farms charge? it is quite a small a/c, wing span 11.3m and about 5-6m long at an estimate..

Lockyears gives it as Colemans green.
