NPPL

What has happened to the new ANO for the NPPL? I thought that it was due to be published at the end of March.

Just opened my new copy of AOPA's General Aviation which arrived in the post today. There is a whole load of stuff in there on licences and NPPL revalidation... It also looks like the LAPL will replace the Nppl AND it may cover helicopters... woo hoo

The ANO amendment is now law.

The AIC was delayed due to an intervention, but should be published in April.

The LAPL is only a proposal. To my mind it is an utter irrelevance and a complete crock.

The AIC (rather belatedly) details the transitional arrangements for revalidation which all NPPL licence holders should read.
