Post Private flying in Mauritius

Can anyone help me locate a private flying club, individual etc from whom I could hire a Light aircraft in Mauritius ???.
I would be happy to convert to any type or even accept escorted flying.

I am a 300 hr + PPL with both single and twin ratings. I currently fly a PA-32 Lance ... if any of this helps.

My wife is Mauritian and would love to show her the Island from the air.

Any information would be appreciated

Regards

Steve

Didnt notice any GA aircraft at the Airport when I was there last year and dont think there was any sort of flying club at all. We did however take a Helicopter transfer to our resort on the West coast which gives you a nice view of the island as you go right across the middle !

Helicopter pilot was from Oban where I'd flow to the weekend before se we had plenty to talk about and he spun out our flight somewhat!

Went there 2 years ago, excellent holiday but no flying other than the holiday jets & helicopters. Not too many places to land if the donkey quits anyway, even landing in the sea would be fraught with problems where the coral reefs haven't been destroyed. PM me if you want some places to visit that are not on the tourist maps.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. My wifes family have lived there all their lives so I guess they know most of the Island .... including where to find those elusive wild Monkeys. But thanks again for the offer...... by the way .. there is always somewhere to land ... it just depends on how much you want it to hurt !!!!.
