Angel Maurice Kirk and G-KIRK

I see Maurice Kirk and his beloved Cub G-KIRK (Rebuilt in Australai after crashing in a busy street in Japan) had to ditch whilst on a flight into Providenckiales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. He was picked up by the US Coastguard operating in the area, and taken to the TCI after activating his emergency beacon. He is well, but his beloved Cub is at the bottom of a very very deep part of Davy Jone's locker. It was reported that as the Cub was sinking, our intrepid aviator had to dive back under to retrieve a vital piece of equipment from the sinking aircraft. His EPIRB.?? His Omega Seamasater.?? His irreplaceable Log.?? His GPS.?? No - it was his trademark Top hat with the emblem "Special adviser to the CAA" on the front.!! Honest.!! Our hero is planning to rebuild another Cub which he has in his Garage and is reported to be raising a sinking fund (Groan.!) to fund the continuation of his trip.
