YAK 52s

Since the Yak Club is in limbo, any Yak 52 guys interested in a fly-in or formation flying? I am at Oaksey Park, N Wilts.

I cannot recommend it more highly. It caters for all levels from the tyro to those wanting to apply for their first formation Display Authorisation, in a structured and fun environment with everyone benefitting from instructors. Mostly populated with Yak 52's, but also Extra 300's. However if you can rustle up 2 or more of the same type, eg Chipmunk, Pitts S2, they can join as well. They must be two seaters.

Sounds great, and would love to go, BUT understand my permit- to- fly is not recognised by the French CAA.I think they will only allow landings for refuelling whilst en-route elsewhere.

Don't worry. The course is held at Le Weald du Nord in Essex.

Anthony and Samantha Hutton, who run it, live in France.

Jeebabe's right, I'll be there!

I can only echo the recommendation of the Hutton Formation School. The most fun you can have with your flying suit on!

If you've not yet done it then save up those pennies and book yourself in!

Otherwise, if Yak owners out there want some formation action then drop me or Noble Lord Flash an e-mail via the website.

Take it easy

Not in the UK as far as I'm aware, and as such not in Europe either as we're all under the EASA nee JAA umbrella.
