Manchester Barton

Hi,

planning on doing the 300nm flight with 2 intermediate stops this week and looking at Barton as 1 of the land-aways. Just wondered from any of the local guys who use this airfield how much a landing fee is for visitors and any contact details for fuel uplift?

Regards

see the web site - City Airport Manchester (Barton to most folk)

Keep in mind that when it rains the place can be shut very quickly, due water logging. These past weeks it has been closed to fixed wing traffic more than it has been open.

Fuel is expensive, so arrange an overdraft with your bank manager before you set off!
