strip near Street, Somerset

please ( suitable for a Robin DR400 ) ?

I think it is called Bristol International Airport.
Seriously though, Somerset is seriously short of any local aviation I'm afraid. Dunkeswell is probably the best and closest.

Weston Zoyland's about 4 miles west of Street, and appears on the 1/2 mill. 600m tarmac runway. Microlight strip but will accept GA (been there several times myself in SEP's)

Be warned that the new nice people from the home counties (in the main) have placed all sorts of crippling restrictions on his planning permission to operate as an aerodrome.

Thanks for that. I've discovered one at Langport which is a similar distance from Street to Weston Zoyland. I'll try Weston and get a taxi from there.

I'm spoilt by having five farm strips within 4 miles of where I live, so having to drive the last 10 miles of my trip feels like the end of the world !

There's a farm strip called High Ham, just south of Ashcott.
