Hour Building Out Of Shoreham

HI all

i intend to build hours towards the requirement for cpl/ir and have been bouncing back and forth between doing it in the U.S and back here in the UK. any ideas of where (flight school) or who( private owner/share) might be able to offer competitive rates at shoreham.

thanx

Flying Time Airbase have a fadec diesel PA 28 you can hire for 85 quid an hour if you buy a block of 10. However landing fees at shoreham are high so if you do use it go for long flights, helps to reduce the cost.

There are usually half a dozen shares for sale at any given time at Shoreham. Look on the noticeboard in the briefing room (above the water cooler). Some are 'priced to sell' others tend to linger for a while.

There are a couple of C-150 / 152s that offer good value and minimal capital. Some groups welcome hour-builders, others do not.
