China PPL?

Any ideas if a foreigner can fly privately in China and use hourse accumulated there for a UK PPL?

seeing as only Chinnese can drive cars there. No. Unless you have an exeption for a special flight. Its commercial opps only

Thanks for the reply....
I spend 2 weeks a month here (flying on BA LHR - PEK now much to my wifes concern!) but want to learn to fly. I guess it will be difficult if I cant keep up practice and knowing China suspected that it would not be straightforward here. I am pretty sure I can get around it in a typically Chinese way but then I figure hours would not count and would not be able to go solo as would need Chinese speaker for ATC.

Why not pop down to Manila and do it there. I did my PPL there and I'll be converting it at some point in the future.

Chinese drivers

seeing as only Chinnese can drive cars there.

I worked in Zhuhai for a year, managing a factory for a HK company.
I had and still have a valid Chinese Driving License.
