aching to fly

Yes, it's raining again and I'm aching to fly, which is crazy when one thinks of how many years I've been flying. Still, what to do, I know, I'll trawl thru the Youtube vids on flying. Seen most of the aerobatic ones and of course, on the morbid side ,I've watched most of the ones involving crashes.
What's your favourite flying video? No, I won't take up model making and yes I am happily married.

Thanks for that, cheered me up no end as I've just checked the weather for friday when I've got the a/c booked. Looks like cancellation for the sixth time in the last three weeks then.
Hope the wx is better for you all, wherever you are.

Been watching the weather for days and finally picked today for a flight. Sun is shining, little wind, endless viz. A pig could fly today! Despite having been through a great many winters of flying I still got EXTREMELY disappointed when I got the phone call from the club to tell me the runways are FLOODED

How i long for those long cold sunny winter days, when you can see for miles and the plane lands itself.

Hate to gloat, but I finally managed to get up today for a quick bimble. Just as well, as my club currency ran out soon. Beautiful morning - crystal skies, no one around (where were you all !!!) and impressive scenery flying over a flooded landscape. Then had to go back to the office

TB: I'm jealous! I lost my currency for the first time in a year last week. As Malc says, where are the cold clear sunny winter days?
Answers on a postcard.....
