L4 Cub over East Lothian this aft
...in the light of a setting sun, over golden beaches. A beautiful sight from the ground, the very essence of the beauty of flight, imho.

That would have been G-BWEZ, in which I learned to fly at Cumbernauld, and is now based in East Lothian. Had the great pleasure of flying her again over Hogmanay, we landed on the beach at Aberlady to inspect the two X-craft midget subs that were beached there after WWII.
