Not the best of terrain for an engine failure in a single - but airmanship beats the odds:

Great decicion making there by the pilot!!!

He should give some advice to Pacific Blue in safe decision making practices (they just had a tail scrape and despite warnings of debris left on the runway, continued to pressurise their aircraft and continue their flight over a vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean).

Looking thats a particularly inflammatory and factually incorrect post - I can tell you for a 100% fact that the PB aircraft returned to Sydney - it did NOT continue to APW.
