Landing in a field - In Ireland

I'm familiar with the 28-day Rule in the UK and was wondering if there is similar legislation which would allow a person to operate from a field in Eire?

I've tried looking on the irish Aviator's website but our lovely net nanny won't let me access it.

LowNSlow,

To the best of my knowledge, there is a comparable 28 day rule in Ireland. What had you in mind exactly? The brother in law is active in that field (no pun intended) back home. I'll tap him for the info if you can be a bit more specific.
