NPPL 2000 kg limit

It seems that some pilots may not understand the relevance of the 2000 kg limit for NPPL SSEA privileges.

The 2000 kg refers to the MTOW authorised for the aircraft, not the basic weight, empty weight, zero fuel weight or any other wieight!

So if it has an authorised MTOW in excess of 2000 kg (4408 lb) it would not be lawful to fly it using NPPL privileges.
