Ir Requirements

As a jaa private helicopter operator with current IR- prior to my LPC/OPC do I have to show that I ve completed x amount of approaches in the previous year to show currency??
I cant locate any stipulated requirement for a private operator

No your rating is renewed by test. I do my ME and IR at the same time once a year.

Did my MEP and SPIR yesterday, first time in a twin piston for 12 months and first time single pilot IR for 12 months too.

Passed though....'

Talking of IRs, Bose-X, any developments on the re-jigging of the theory requirements yet ?

Whilst on the topic, does anyone have the reference to take off/landing operating minima for single pilot, single engine non public transport? Looked through LASORS, AIC and the ANO (CAP393) without luck.

I will prepare an update on the IR and come back to you. Most of the theory changes are done, just need to check on the EASA progress.
