Fuel charges

At a time when we are being taken for a ride by all and sundry, including many airfield owner/operators it is good to report that at Coventry one is asked to pay £1.08 +vat for Avgas. £1.15 + vat at my base!! Yes one pays £20 to land there but it is worth the trip to receive a civil reception, visit the museum adjacent the airpark (exit K on the runway) and enjoy the big airport feel where you as light aircraft pilots are still wellcome. An uplift of 70 litres and in my case it paid to stop off, refuel rather than pay the additional 7p per litre charged at my base. Well done the Airpark at Coventry.
