Lodge Farm
I am trying to get details of a strip near st Osyth (just north east of Clacton, Essex) that I believe is called Lodge Farm.
Does anyone have any details (or indeed details of any other strip that would be more suitable for a visit to Brightlingsea tomorrow - Tuesday). I only need 300m for a Tipsy Nipper.
I know I could go to Clacton but they are shut today and I need to phone for PPR before I go which will be too late.

I have landed there before, albeit a long time ago. Unfortunately, I have lost contact details, but if you call Clacton Aero Club, they should have them

Lodge Farm is less than 1m to the NW of Clacton airfield,
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.sr...3965&ay=215375
Its runway runs 09-27 (at almost right angles to Claction) along the line of the footpath marked on the map above. It is more than adequate for a Nipper as my friend flies a Piper Archer from there.
As a farm strip there is not always a "flyer" anyone around. If you still plan to visit drop me a PM and I will give you a phone number
