I hope you have done your maths on this venture. I assume you are proposing to do at least 50 hours a year? Everytime I do these calculations as to whether to buy a share or keep renting the latter wins again and again.
Why not join the excellent BA Flying Club at Booker (Wycombe) There are 9 excellent planes, the booking system is simple, the rules on having the plane for a day are very relaxed, for instance, take a plane at 11am and return it by midnight after a return to ,say, IOW, for 1 hr 30. No 1 month re-validation rubbish as long as you can prove that you can fly well, all technical issues are solved efficiently by the guys in engineering. A thoroughly good set up, I will welcome you there any time.

Yeah thats why I want to get into a share group, I fly at Denham and think TPC are simply the best club in that area money wise, for highly efficient a/c £105 ph wet take off to shutdown with 10 mins added for start/taxi , landing fees in your flying membership its hard to beat, but I want to do more hours and gain more experience. I would like to have a more intimate relationship with an aircraft
agree about the circuit check bit ,will take a look at Booker as I just moved to Thame

Only problem with an Archer, A&C, is working out where the Pikey thing is operating from this week..... Only joking!!
Do come and visit the BA Flying Club, you won't be disappointed - and ask to visit the engineering hangar, they're a very friendly lot over there....

Under the current circumstances I shall not from comment on the aircraft's homeless state is the result of actions beond the control of myself or my company and was forced on my company by a third party who may well find himself the subject of action in the courts.
However I can assure any one who is interested that the location of the aircraft base has no effect apon maintenance company that is used and the flight safety standards within the operating company.
