new places to go?

Looking to do some XC from EGNV (Durham). Any idea's of places to go that are about 1-2 hours away with a paved runway, cheap fee's and maybe a good buttie?

Thanks

Remember to watch for lemmings jumping out of meat bombers over Old Buck and plastic contraptions and barrage balloon cables over Tibenham.

The important word is "Over", absolutely NO OVERHEAD JOINS at Tibenham, other than that it's just fine.

Try heading south and not turning left when you hit East Anglia, Conington has a Hard runway and a reasonable quality of bacon butties.
and if you can't be bothered to navigate on the way back, just follow the A1

Wessex Boy, whats the fuel price at Conington nowadays, also is it still free landing fee on certain uplift? May fly over on Saturday, it's been ages since I've been there.
