GPS failure?
Flying back to base today in Yorkshire, we had a total GPS failure for appx 3mins(seemed like 3 hours though). The panel mounted and hand held both whent off line
The weather wasnt too bad but the old steam driven stuff was working fine and i always try and fly VOR's so no worries there. Anyone else have similar problem in the N.E?

They were NOTAMed but I didn't take a detailed look as they weren't anywhere near our route. I would guess that Fylingdales might have had something to do with it. I have always wondered if Fylingdales could listen to cockpit conversations with all the clever stuff they have in there.
