Capturing Audio infight

Thinking about going flying with a bullet camera in the cockpit with a small DV camera to record to.Does anyone have any experience in routing the audio from the comms (through intercom system) to a camera unit to record the intercom and also the RT?If so would love to hear how you did it because our last try didnt really work. We got a splitter in and plugged the camera in to the splitter but it came out inaudible. Thanks for any advice.

Just get a small microphone, hook it up to your camcorder as normal and whilst wearing your headset, pop the mic into the headset's earcup - works a treat even in a very noisy environment...
