Probably... but what a rich vein of convesation.
Great Gig In The Sky - Pink Floyd. No words but powerful stuff.
Starlight - Muse. Words but marvellous song (used it for one of my home vids in 2006 and it went down well).
Toccata - Sky. Modern (well it was in the 80s) reworking of the classical organ piece, with electric guitars and drums and synths and new fangled things. I love it.
As for more than one version of Top Gun, I have the DVD and there is a lot more music than I remembered, but it is the original cut. I don't think they've ever done multiple edits.
Edited to say that when I put together anything that needs a soundtrack, I go for something of that year - hence Starlight in 2006. It deliberately dates the video.
