Newcastle or Blackpool

Hi,

I'm planning on a weekend away this weekend coming either to Blackpool or Newcastle or possibly inverness.

I'm familiar with Inverness, but was wondering if anyone can shed any light on landing fees, handling fees and parking fees at blackpool and newcastle for 2 nights parking?

Regards

wx this coming w/e is not looking pretty in the north west. Take a look at the five day. It might answer your question for you.

Also, as someone who has had first hand experience of Blackpool, it is not that GA friendly any more and Blackpool iself is a hole.

Newcastle

I have always found the GA handling company at NCL to be extremely helpful and friendly... however not cheap. They are based on the south side, but will run you round to the main terminal for the metro/hire cars etc. Also being across the runway from the big stuff means that you don't get involved in all that security business.

Give them a ring for charges Tel: Operations: +44 (0) 191 2864156

or their website

Despite all of the pictures of jets on their website, they do do PA28s too.

A cheaper option could be DurhamTeesValley ....no handling, very friendly GA and cheap fee's (approx £8-9 for SEP) and only a stones throw from Newcastle.

Blimey. You've got one helluva stone-throwing arm on you!
