Flyout from Compton Abbas

Thinking of a flyout May bank holiday (28th) from Compton to somewhere about 45 mins to an hour away. Everyone's welcome, but we need a destination! Anyone know of a field with a nice clubhouse or within walking distance of a decent pub with beer garden?

White Waltham will be rockin' if the weather's OK. Lots of interesting machinery to see and good grub in the clubhouse lounge.
Have a good trip.

Pilot have free landing vouchers for Oaksey Park during May. It says there are good pubs in the village.

Jersey's less than an hour from Compton Abbas in most aircraft, nice clubhouse, cheap fuel, and Gordon Brown will pay for your lunch (via drawback )
