Light aircraft crash in Texas

Driving home tonight in far south Texas, to be met with a road closed by police. Later son told me of local news reporting light aircraft crashed on road. One fatal, one severe injury.

Location c 5nm south of McAllen International.

A border agent pursuing illegal immigrants while flying a C182 crashed fatally in that area recently.

Yes, that was a strange one. The aircraft went in almost nose down and then "bounced back 25 feet." !!

He left behind a lovely family.
