There was much dissent from the commitee etc etc but LAC as a flying club remains , the clubhouse I believe is now a RVR affair but nothing has changed really in the grand scheme of things with the exception of getting a nice cup tea and a bacon sarnie but im sure that will all change its still a busy little airport, and wash your mouth out , its city airport manchester if you please , halfpenny green all over again methinks

I flew out on the 31st March. No big difference. Some chaps were hanging up a "LAC Flying School" banner near the main road. Found a new "LAC Flying School" board up near the entrance to the car park (and a Ravenair one flattened on the ground..). Clubhouse is closed for now until Ravenair re-open it.
