Flew a day trip Toronto-Montreal return in a C-172 with an 8 month pregnant lady. She did use the sick bag, but was otherwise fine and we were never more than 15 minutes or so from an airport.

One thing to keep in mind is that higher altitudes are not that good for the baby in the last few months -- part of the reason that airlines ban pregnant passengers after 32 weeks.

Then there are the Legal/Insurance consequences of taking off with 2 POB in a 2 seater and suddenly having 3 POB !

Okay, I'll take the bait.

"Mayday" is distress.

"Pan" is urgency.

Therefore, if this situation arose, "pan" would be the call to make. However (and it's a big however!) this situation I am sure would be most unlikely to arise since there's no-one daft enough to take a heavily pregnant woman flying (unnecessarily!) in a light aircraft

Jeremy Pratt's "Air Law" mentions that on average 2 or 3 flights in the UK, every year, land with more passengers than they took off with. Apparently it's almost always in Scotland and due to medical air transfers of pregnant women.

They don't really land with more passengers than they take off with, it's just that they have been redistributed.
