DC Active Noise Headset kit
Ive heard that you can get a kit to convert your passive DC headset to an active reduction one. Does anyone know where i can get hold of this kit and how easy is it to fit.
Is it any good.
Any advice is helpful
Thanks

I would estimate that if you already own a soldering iron you'd be skilled enough to fit one. The instructions are very clear.
They do work, but not as well as (say) a Bose-X headset, but then buying one is much cheaper than one of those.

Got mine from here a couple of years ago. Works very well IMO, won't fly (GA) without it now. An hour or so to fit the first one, have done a few since for mates and I reckon about 40 minutes with a bit of practice.

Good conversion kit from here: http://www.headsetsinc.com/ (loads slowly!) Have converted two sets of DCs - fairly easy and takes about 3 hours. They work well.
If you wish this chap: Richard F.W. Holder 07860 367423 (mobile) will do the conversion for you.
