Night Rating Renewal????

Hi All

Have I got this right? I was surprised to see no mention of Night Rating Renewal in LASORS just now? Was expecting to see a defined renewal path, as is with the IMC, but could only find Night Rating Validity (i.e one take-off and landing within 90days to maintain validity for carrying passengers).

Would it therefore be just a case of a one dual night flight with an instructor to regain validity?? Does the Night Rating never expire then?

Any clarifications very welcome!

Thanks

It never expires, you revalidate it yourself by 1 circuit. If you are rusty then a flight with an instructor makes sense but is not required.

Yes, a flight with an instructor will be taking place soon then. Good to hear it knocks 5hrs off the CPL too.

For once, a financially less painful outcome than expected.

Cheers for the reply.
