Solo flights - What are they logged as ?

Are they still PUT or P1 or PIC or whatever it is ? Yes it's another thread, but I didn't want to hijack the other one.

P1 is the military equivalent of the civil PIC. In practice, they are synonymous.

Not quite, on V bombers we operated as P1 and P2, they designated the left and right hand seats. If the P1 was under check, the P2 was invariably Captain and PIC!
