Angel Private Military Fighter

Hi folks,
I am 49 year old airline pilot with 14.000hrs jet experience. I still want to realize my dream of flying a western military jet, most likely the F 104. Does anybody has any adresses for me? I am only looking for western jets not for MIG`S.
Thanks for the help.

You could try a Lightning at Thunder City. I doubt you'll find an F-104 anywhere. The Italians are just retiring their last versions and I cannot see how a civilian operator could ever get permission to operate one. Maybe I'm wrong...?

i know that there are (were?) one or two private F-104s doing the US airshow circuit. there was an article about them in Smithsonian's Air & Space Magazine a few years back (2000 or so). if you had the money and desire, you might be able to order the back issue, contact the owners, and arrange a private flight.

What about Delta Jets at Kemble? I believe they operate Hunters, Gnats and Jet Provosts.

From - http://www.warbirdalley.com/f104.htm

At least three F-104s are now flown by private owners in the USA, and several more are under restoration.
