Mystery skid marks! M6 Toll Road.
Any Birmingham fliers out there? I'm trying to convince Tom Tom Navigator just how poor is their handling of the 'airport' motorway junctions. If you are going west on the M6, from the Coventry side with the Tom Tom looking for the airport, it mistakenly takes you onto the M6 toll. After a couple of miles or so the little voice says TURN LEFT. Trouble is, the left turn is only a non-public service road.
What tickles me is the thick layer of burnt rubber on the road from the dozens of skidding Tom Tom drivers - suddenly trying to go left.
Project for the weekend. Any chance of an aerial photograph of the black strips next to the service road. That should convice 'em.

TomTom also tries to take you onto the M25 at a service road just east of Clacket Lane services if you route from Biggin Hill to Dover.
On the whole though, a good bit of kit if you can accept shortcomings like this.
