Just Passed my PPL
I passed!
I'm over the moon, I did my skill test this morning, and passed! I'm delighted
Whoohoo.
I can't wait to go flying now and get better with flying skills and sample the delights of ATC, and navigating through the small VFR corridor between Manchester and Liverpool. The sky's the limit (within VMC conditions of course).
Tiggermoth
PS
I've trained on a Piper PA28 Warrior, so I'll be looking for a share in a Warrior at Barton (whether I'm let loose in a group share after passing I don't know).
PPS I've written a 'flyerlog' blog of my training experience, but I'm not allowed to publish it on here, but if you'd like to read it, then just drop me a message.

Well done pal, passed mine last week at LBA. Shame about the licence issue fee though of £159 for the PPL(a).
Good Luck with all your future flying and have many fun hours of adventures.

£159?? Just wait til you do your ratings etc £75 ratings and i think!! it's £209 for CPL issue. Quite steep i think for licences. But they have the monoploy on the whole thing so they can charge what they like.

Thanks for all your good wishes!
I'm looking forward to learning, for a start, how to land on grass. Should be fun. I'm going to tootle down to Barton today and see if I can go up with somebody.
