Hi,
could not find anything on this so forgive me if it has already been covered and point me in the right direction.
I have a lapsed FAA PPL and would like to know if I can get it revalidated in the UK without going across the pond..?
I am about to get my UK licence revalidated also and have booked to get a UK/US medical done. Should I get the CAA flying done first and go from there..??
I'm confused HELP...!!!
Cheers,
Steve

If you mean a BFR in the UK, then I came across this page a while ago. I don't know any more than the website provides, thogh.

If you get the CAA PPL revalidated first, then I could possibly do your BFR in England/Essex.
I'm not a JAA FI, or holding a JAA CPL (yet) so I don't know if it could be done. I am a current FAA CFI & I'd do it for free to save you having to go stateside if that is a loop hole we could use.
Ideally you'd need to find a dual rated JAA FI/FAA CFI.
The BFR consists of a min. 1 hour ground and a 1 hour flight.
