PPL Training, South Wales?

I was just having a chat with a mate who lives in South Wales (about 35 mins from both Cardiff and Swansea) who has expressed an interest in getting his PPL. What recommendations would any of you make about places for training, preferably a club rather than a school, if possible. I don't know anything about the GA opportunities out that way so couldn't advise him myself.

Any help much appreciated!

Cheers,

I flew at Swansea recently and was impressed.

I posted some comments on this thread - GA and Swansea

(If your friend can fly during the week, he'll save a lot of money. They offer big discounts.)
