RAF terminal charts

Does anyone else buy the RAF terminal charts booklets?

I've received a couple of letters from No. 1 AIDU about changes to the charts - they are reducing the number of different volumes from 7 to 4 and they now call them 'Emergency and Unplanned Diversion' (EUD) charts - but no-one has explained what changes there are going to be or what price the new products will be. I'm worried in case they cease to be useful...

Anyone know anything? There's nothing on www.aidu.mod.uk.

Tim

I get them and have had the same letters. To be fair they have always been unplanned and diversion charts. If you actually look at them you will see that they are missing a significant number of plates for a lot of airports. Hence the reason they are so slim.

They will still contain the same information but each yellow book will be fatter!

I use them for unplanned diversions, they live in the aircraft. For normal plates I use Jeppview.
